YouTube now has a video of Dr Conrad Murray, who had been Michael Jackson’s personal doctor and who has been under investigation since the singer’s death.

On the video, said to have been made last week in Houston, Texas, 51-year-old Dr Murray makes his first public statement since Jackson’s death.

Murray had been with the star when he suffered a cardiac arrest and died on 25 June. On the video Dr Murray says: "I told the truth and I have faith the truth will prevail."  Court records have named the doctor as the subject of an official manslaughter investigation and police have questioned him on two occasions as well as having searched his home and offices.  Dr Murray has until now refrained from speaking in public and his lawyer has been his public representative.
