Kiwis girls in 'ass cam' YouTube stingA video clip taken by a hidden "ass camera" rigged up by two Kiwi girls in LA is fast-becoming the YouTube sensation of the week. The clip, called "Rear view girls", is a montage of craning necks and double-takes, showing  men, women, and even the Hollywood Jesus slowing down to take a cheeky peek at the girls' behinds.

Jessie and Reanin - aka Miss Popularity winner and former All Blacks WAG Jessie Gurunathan and former Juice TV and Shortland St "bad girl" Reanin Johannink - say the video is meant to show "fellas and ladies how sly you aren't".

Johannink left New Zealand for Hollywood in 2008, to begin an acting career, while Gurunathan is the presenter of TVNZ's new show " The Libra Design Project". Posted on Monday, by Friday morning the ass cam clip had more than 750,000 views, with stories appearing on blogs, and news sites such as the Huffington Post.

Going by the pair's Twitter posts, they didn't expect the video to make such a splash, with Gurunathan saying to Johannink yesterday "Babe! our vid's hit over 109,000 views! Yeeeeeow!(sic).

Commentators have been surprised by the number of women checking out the girls' assets - at one point in the video a woman connects with the camera, then checks her boyfriend to see if he is looking. Also caught staring on camera is the "West Hollywood Jesus", a man known in the area for roaming around in a Christ-like outfit. Some sites have speculated the clip may be the beginning of an advertising setup or product launch, similar to the Lonely Girl videos.

The girls have dropped hints that further ass cam videos could be on the way, with Reanin tweeting yesterday "Yes you can expect more....soon too!"
