YouTube enriched with a secure mode for objectionable content

The videos sharing website YouTube now offers a security feature that allows users to filter content believed objectionable or offensive. although YouTube already blocking pornography, erotic or violent but in order to give more protection the site for sharing videos just put up a new feature allowing users to filter the images they consider unacceptable, offensive or abusive.

“We know that some of you want more control” points the site manager, Jamie Davidson, the official blog of YouTube. “Therefore we are announcing the Safety Mode, an optional setting helping to filter the content that you prefer not to look or you do not want certain members of your family watch”

This option, disabled by default, has the potential to block users via the definition of keywords, some videos and comments with sexual overtones, inciting to violence, drugs, etc.. And Jamie Davidson added: “No filter is 100% perfect, but Safety Mode is a further step towards our goal is to enable you to better control on the content displayed onto the website.
